Life after graduation comes with opportunities — and price tags. Does your child know the real costs, fine print, and hidden expenses behind buying a car or a home? When they land their first job, would you like them to understand how a paycheque really works?

A three-day personal finance summer program — equipping you with the knowledge to make confident money decisions for life. Designed for students entering Grades 8–10, the program covers real-world topics including budgeting, taxes, buying a home, and more — taught by working professionals who live these decisions every day.

Jeff MacLean
Senior Vice President of Manufacturing, The Shaw Group
Former President, Michelin North America (Canada) Inc.
A seasoned industrial leader, Jeff MacLean brings over 30 years of global manufacturing and corporate governance experience to his role. As Senior Vice President of Manufacturing for The Shaw Group, he provides strategic oversight for eight divisions within one of Eastern Canada's leading community developers, residential builders and natural resource manufacturers.
A former President of Michelin North America (Canada) Inc., Mr. MacLean's career began in engineering as a co-op student in 1988 and expanded into international executive leadership in North America and Europe. He is an alumnus of Halifax's Saint Mary's University (Bachelor of Science) and Dalhousie University, where he completed his Engineering degree.
Beyond his professional life, Jeff remains deeply committed to his community, known for coaching youth sports, serving as Chair of Nova Scotia Business Inc., and as a passionate supporter of the Special Olympics. In his leisure time, he enjoys fishing and mountain biking.

A recognized voice in the industry, he has appeared in The Globe and Mail and amassed over half a million views for his digital content on financial literacy.

Tracey Lee
M.Ed · Registered Clinical Counsellor
Tracey is a registered clinical counsellor with over 30 years of experience supporting youth and mentoring emerging professionals. Her extensive background in BC's public and independent schools is bolstered by her ability to teach in-depth research from diverse perspectives. Tracey has designed K–12 wellness programs, supervises university interns, and remains a dedicated advocate for student mental health. Beyond her clinical practice, Tracey is a lifelong mentor and elite debate coach, having led Team Canada to a World Schools Debate Championship in 2010. Her community impact has earned her the CSDF McLeese Award, the Vancouver Quadra Hidden Heroes Award, and Stanford University's J.E. Wallace Sterling Award.

Jeffrey brings 20 years of Canadian automotive experience across both OEM and retail. As Managing Partner at Richmond Hyundai he built it into the top EV dealer in BC, executed a successful buy/sell, and grew market share in under three months. Earlier roles include General Manager at Volkswagen with Go Auto and Auto Canada, where he led two award-winning dealers and a team of 70, and 13.5 years at Mercedes-Benz Canada as Region Operations Manager for Western Canada, overseeing 18 dealers while the brand maintained #1 luxury manufacturer status.
